We think the highlight of your stay will be sitting around the irori, cooking and eating together, while sipping local sake or a cold beer around the glowing embers.

We will provide all that you need to make a really memorable meal, such as local chicken, plenty of seasonal vegetables as well as pickles and homemade condiments and dressings.

You can also have a go at cooking rice in a kamado, a special pot that sits over a wood-burning oven.

Vegetarian, vegan and other special diets are easily catered for, although please let us know before you arrive.

Where possible the food at Yoshimizu is organic and / or locally sourced.
